not always beyond repair

One of the lessons I learned from living in Nepal is that almost nothing goes to waste. I was constantly amazed at what was accomplished with little or no money; but with plenty of ingenuity, perseverance and positive attitude.

Our ambulance is a good example. It needed a new engine, a new paint job, new tires, new seats . . . .

  1. From the junk yard to the show room, amazing transformation, the efforts put into its restoration, save with the right attributes. Indeed nothing is beyond repair.

    1. That was in 2004, and it’s still running. The project impressed some visitors so much that they pitched in donated a brand new ambulance.
