This is Tyler Forbes and his sister Tara. The Forbes and we were like family during our time in Nepal. Tyler used to have a wild imagination, and we would often sit together and weave his imagination into stories. Here is the first one. It needs an illustrator to turn it into a picture book. But for now, use your imagination!

Ponty Python looked up and then looked down below his nose as far as he could. He was looking for something that wiggled and breathed. Everyone knows that python meals wiggle and breathe.
As Ponty was looking for something that wiggled and breathed, he smelled something very yummy. So he sashayed and slithered, pointing his nose towards the smell. And there it was: A Fish and Chips restaurant with a big purple fish.
Positive that fish wiggled and breathed, Ponty hissed a jumbo order of Fish and Chips. He stared at his plate of fish and chips. It didn’t wiggle. It didn’t breathe. He shimmied around the plate and stared some more. The fish and chips still didn’t wiggle. It still didn’t breathe.
Hissing a sad sigh, Ponty slid off his chair. He was very sad that the fish and chips did not wiggle or breathe. He had never eaten anything that didn’t wiggle and breathe. So he left the fish and chips alone.
All day long he thought of fish and chips. And suddenly, he got an idea! He would find something that wiggled and breathed with fish and chips ALREADY in its tummy!
Ponty first saw Cow. Ponty zigzagged between Cow’s legs. “Do you have fish and chips in your tummy, Cow?”
“No I don’t. But I have some grass!”
“Oopsssss. I’m hiss-sorry to have almosssst eaten you, Cow. I’ll be on my way”
Next Ponty saw Bear. He wrapped himself up around Bear’s furry belly. “Do you have fish and chips in your tummy, Bear?
“No I don’t. But I have some honey!”
“Oopsssss. I’m hiss-sorry to have almosssst eaten you, Bear. I’ll be on my way”
Next Ponty saw Kitten. He wrapped his tail around Kitten’s tail. “Do you have fish and chips in your tummy, Kitten?”
“No I don’t. But I have some milk!”
“Oopsssss. I’m hiss-sorry to have almosssst eaten you, Kitten. I’ll be on my way”
Next Ponty saw Monkey. He climbed onto Monkey’s back and looked him in the eye. “Do you have fish and chips in your tummy, Monkey?”
“No I don’t. But I have some bananas!”
“Oopsssss. I’m hiss-sorry to have almosssst eaten you, Monkey. I’ll be on my way”
Next Ponty saw Chipmunk. He raced Chipmunk up the tree and wrapped the tree and the Chipmunk together. “Do you have fish and chips in your tummy, Chipmunk?”
“No I don’t. But I have some nuts!”
“Oopsssss. I’m hiss-sorry to have almosssst eaten you, Chipmunk. I’ll be on my way”
Next Ponty saw Toad. He tipped Toad on her back and poked her belly with the tip of his tail. “Do you have fish and chips in your tummy, Toad?”
“No I don’t. But I have some flies!”
“Oopsssss. I’m hiss-sorry to have almosssst eaten you, Toad. I’ll be on my way”
Next Ponty saw Bunny. He tied Bunny’s ears into a bow and held him down. “Do you have fish and chips in your tummy, Bunny?”
“No I don’t. But I have some carrots!”
“Oopsssss. I’m hiss-sorry to have almosssst eaten you, Bunny. I’ll be on my way”
Next Ponty saw Tyler flying a kite. He wrapped himself and the string around Tyler. “Do you have fish and chips in your tummy, Tyler?”
“Yes I do. My Mommy makes me Fish and Chips every Thursday and today is Thursday.”
“Hiss-super! I’m going to eat you now.”
“But you can’t eat Tyler,” yelled Tyler’s little sister Tara who came running out of nowhere. “If you eat him, I won’t have a brother.”
“I’m sssooo hiss-sorry,” said Ponty “I don’t want to take your brother from you. But I want some fish and chips. And yummy python dinners are ones that wiggle and breathe. Tyler wiggles and breathes and he has fish and chips inside him.
Tara quickly thought of a plan. She tickled Ponty under his belly, on his side, over his nose and around his tail.“Hiss-ha ha, hiss-ha ha, hiss-ha ha” Ponty laughed until he could not hold on to Tyler any more.
“Things that don’t wiggle and breathe are yummy too,” said Tara. “Like mashed potatoes and apples and noodles and cherry pie. They don’t wiggle or breathe. Come with us and try some Fish and Chips.”
Ponty was afraid to try something that didn’t wiggle and breathe. A shiver went down his shiny spine.
But all it took was one bite!
And from then on, every Thursday, Ponty slithered to Tyler and Tara’s home for Fish and Chips. And every time it was hiss-super delicioussssss.
